Upper Russell Productions is an independent documentary filmmaking team based out of Colorado Springs.

​Mischa Cantu, who earned her graduate degree from the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts, is the foundation of UR Pro.

Zachary Blake, is a US Army Special Forces soldier (RET) turned cinematographer.

They collaborated to combine their unique backgrounds to tell a story that no one else could.

From March 2023 to June of 2025, they worked on the project "When Sunflowers Point East", which tells an intimate and unique story of the Russian-Ukrainian War.
